PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT SEKITAR DALAM PENGEMBANGAN DESA WISATA. STUDI KASUS BONO. DI KECAMATAN TELUK MERANTI KABUPATEN PELALAWAN PROVINSI RIAU
This study aims to find an explanation of the local community participation in developing the Tourism Village in the village of Teluk Meranti Bono Pelalawan. Specifically this study aims at studying the forms of participation of local communities as well as training and extension training received by the public in developing the Tourism Village Bono. Participation of the people here in terms of social and culture in Hospitality consisting of 12 elements, but the researchers only examined two elements alone are Handicraft and Gastronomy Food of style region. Were taken from 50 surrounding communities of various elements of society consisting of NGOs, Chairman of the PKK, Mr. headman, Department of Tourism, community leaders, craftsmen, merchants, fishermen), which invited the discussion forums to obtain the necessary data. Data collected through interviews. Discussion forums, using questioner and direct observation. Variables in this study are forms of public participation around in terms of social and culture in hospitality (Handicraft and Gastronomy or Food of style), and the training and education that never received public in developing the Tourism Village Bono. The data were then analyzed using SWOT analysis. This study shows the surrounding community participation in developing the Tourism Village Bono. To develop the Tourism Village Bono about the need for community participation and support and training for government and NGOs to improve the quality of human resources in developing communities around the Village Tourism Bono. Results from this study is the participation of local communities and support and training for government and NGOs to improve the quality of human resources. This has been done by the government, NGOs and community leaders Both in the field of handicrafts and food processing.
